Nell’arte cristiana, la Madonna è uno dei soggetti più presenti nei dipinti e non solo, la troviamo in affreschi e sculture dove da oltre duemila anni vengono sottolineate le sue molteplici rappresentazioni attraverso la sua gloria, bontà e le sue virtù.
Il Geko Art Studio propone un pomeriggio dedicato al tema iconografico della Vergine Maria, ripercorrendo insieme la sua storia nelle più belle rappresentazioni artistiche di sempre, commentando dipinti, sculture e le opere più suggestive dell’arte sacra di ogni epoca.
Al termine della presentazione, i partecipanti si uniranno poi al laboratorio di scultura dove realizzeranno un piccolo basso rilievo in argilla, ispirandosi alla spettacolare Madonna di Santa Maria Nuova del Verrocchio, guidati dallo scultore Octavio Palomino.
L’evento inizierà alle 15 presso il nostro studio in Via Coluccio Salutati 3R e terminerà alle 18.30 con una degustazione di vino toscano e degli snacks salati.

In Christian art, the Virgin Mary is one of the most present subjects in paintings and more, we find her in frescoes and sculptures where for over two thousand years her multiple representations have been highlighted through her glory, goodness and her virtues.
The Geko Art Studio offers an afternoon dedicated to the iconographic theme of the Virgin Mary, remembering her history together in the most beautiful artistic representations of all time, commenting on paintings, sculptures and the most evocative works of sacred art from every era.
At the end of the presentation, the participants will then join to the sculpture workshop to create a small clay bas-relief, inspired by the spectacular Madonna of Santa Maria Nuova by Verrocchio, led by the sculptor Octavio Palomino.
The event will start at 3pm at our studio in Via Coluccio Salutati 3R and will end at 6.30pm with a tasting of Tuscan wine and savory snacks.
